if someone really wanted to do this, I would look at replacing the differential with some sort of custom center section for which there is a large selection of gear ratios. I would say that if high speed is the goal, the solution is to change final drive ratio, not transmission. Before I spent ten grand on a transmission I would spend a few thousand on having a new differential mated to the existing halfshafts. You would then have a large selection of gears to choose from, and you could change that over time to suit the intended use. RSR
